OH MY!...

Good Morning. Y'all must be wondering, why in the hell am I posting at 3:50ish in the am? Well, let me tell you...the Christmas tree fell over this am, about 30 min ago, and I've been cleaning it up. Yes, that is right. I did end up getting a tree(you know, the tree I didn't want this year). I awoke to a huge,scary noise at about 3:30 something this morning. So, for the first 15 min I just stood there supporting the tree in my arms and stared at all of my broken ornaments! I am heart broken over what I found. I have at least 30 + hallmark ornaments, ,some are now broken...but the worst is that I found a few of my homemade ornaments that I've collected from the kids in preschool and up. I wanted to cry, but I think I was(still) am in such disbelief...My mom was over Monday, and we noticed that my tree was crooked, so we rigged it up, and I don't know if that's to blame for this mishap or not. So, after my 15 min assessment, I started to pick up the ornaments(broken & intact), loaded it all up on the coffee table, and drug the tree outside to my front porch. No small task, I can promise you...it still has some ornaments on it. I don't care. I'm tired, and I still need to sweep-some more. I cannot promise that I will even put this tree back up...but I also know that that would upset my kids greatly...sometimes it really sucks to be alone. Alone as in no husband...hell at this point I wish this had happened when R was at least spending the night, although I'm not sure he would have helped...
