Out Of Town Friends!

My parents have lived in the same house since 1980.I was 22 months old when they moved. The entire neighborhood is the same since 1980...well, a few people have passed, moved, etc. My friends from FOREVER still come and visit their parents from time to time. You all know about Jena, she lives in TN, adorable little girl, E, and another 1 in the oven. Her sister, (we will stick w/ initials), M came into town to visit her parents, also living in the same house, across the street from mine. They live down South FL. She has 3 beautiful girls! O is 1 year younger than C(my oldest). R is 2 days older than K(we were SUPPOSED to be induced on the same day, but I guess M just couldn't wait!!:) And her baby, C, is almost 6! When the girls come to town, and K gets together it is NON-STOP screaming, laughing, giggling, make-up,baby dolls, barbies..you get the idea. We only got to see them a short while, but they all made the most of it!~e

A new addition...

So, everyone that knows us well knows that K has a "daughter", Alexis. Well, behold, K has now adopted (you know b/c she is not yet married) a son. She has named him Bryson, in honor of someone that we all love very much. Bryson is a preemie, as you can see from the pics, he is much smaller than his sister Alexis(this classifies him as a "preemie"). So, I am a grandmother x2. Who would have thought that I'd be a grandma at age 30??!!! :)
So, as you all know by now, on Wednesdays I post my thankful post. This week I am thankful for a few tidbits...1)that Aunt C is still cooking baby B!(Thank you Jesus!!!) and 2)that my little girl still really enjoys being a little girl! There is so much pressure on young kids to "grow" up, I'm just glad that she still enjoys playing "baby" at age 7!!~e

Aunt C & baby B

We went to visit the kids Aunt C this AM. She is the reason for the post for prayer requests from yesterday(see previous post). She is 32 weeks today, and doing really well. She will remain on BR until baby B enters this world...for now he is quiet comfy cooking in his momma's belly! Please keep both Aunt C & baby B in your thoughts and prayers during the next few weeks, it means a lot to me just knowing that I have so many friends that are concerned about their well-being. She and my other sis-in-law(see 30th b-day post) are the closest relation I've ever had to having my own sisters!!! We have been able to remain family after all these years, even though I'm not even married to their brother anymore. They both are a big part of mine & my kids lives, and I wouldn't have it any other way!~e

Friends Forever!!

K and M have been friends forever!! Since I'm close to both momma and daddy of M, they've had no choice. This past weekend M spent the day/eve w/ us. C had a b-day party(his gf), so me and the girls decided to just stay and hang out. It's a park w/ "mountains" for exploring! We had fun and I was exhausted, notice no pics of momma! ;)~e

Prayer Request

I ask that all my readers keep my sister-in-law and baby-to-be in your thoughts and prayers. Aunt C really has longed for lil' baby B, and has done everything by the books and continues to do so...any and all prayers are appreciated now. Thanks~e

so sorry...

I'm a slacker, and I've been slacking!!!So sorry... The kiddies are on vacation with their dad and his family this week, and I must admit it's been quiet & lonely!! I miss the constant t.v., xbox, guitar hero, electric guitar, webkinz, littlest pet shop toys everywhere, and yes, even the constant bickering!!! It's WAY TOO quiet around the house. I think even little Rocco is becoming depressed. :( They will return by the end of the weekend, and I will be glad to welcome them home. I'm sure they will have a ton of new stories about all of the 'adventures' they experienced while up in the great Smoky Mountains. So, on that note, I've enclosed a few pics from just the daily life with them around that I miss and what matters most to me & what I can't wait to have back home with me every night...just so I can peek in before bed and watch sleeping and breathing.(whew-I'm exhausted after that long running sentence!!)~e

sorry!

sorry for the lack of posting this week. It will continue for the next week or so. I have a Kaplan Review course I will be taking next week, so I have a feeling that blogging will be the LAST thing on my mind! :( I was so wrapped up in my 'last day of school' post, that I completely forgot my THANKFUL Wed. post!! So, I am Thankful for these 2 precious people that God has entrusted me with for their growing up years. Until I can breathe & post again.~e

Last day of school---here comes summer!!!!

So, one more post....

Today was C's last day of grade school. :( I cried like a baby. It started in the AM on the drive to school, and it REALLY got ugly at the 'clap out' for 5th graders! What is a clap out you ask? Well, the ENTIRE school lines the halls(staff, students, teachers, parents that came) and we clapped every single 5th grader out to the bus ramp. It was very emotional for me...Also posted are a few pics from the awards ceremonies the kids had a few days ago, and various pics from today...of course I spent the entire morning at the school...jumping between the 2 class parties, and they are not conveniently located...~e

AQUATICA

okay, I promise that this is my last "catch up" post...after this I will be current, once again! On Sunday the kids and I went over to Orlando's new h2o park-Aquatica-it was awesome! We met Rob, and his sister & her hubby & 2 kiddies (who are down visiting from ATL area). We had so much fun--it is a really great park, w/ tons to do-for all ages!! (oh--and the feet shot?that's me, waiting on C to finish up in the mens room...I need a pedicure badly):) ~e

the SURPRISE PARTY!!!...

Okay, I warned y'all---I have a lot of events to post....I just have not had the time! Well, if you read last Friday PM I posted that K had a party...?..remember? Well, I lied, umm...fibbed....it was a SURPRISE PARTY 3-0 PARTY for one of my closest friends(and oldest), D.She had no idea at all---which was perfect! The party went w/o any complications-I couldn't have hoped for any better...Her mom & hubby(& kiddies) hosted the party, I just assisted...it was a great turn out!~e

I have TONS to talk about...

Hi all! so sorry I've been MIA....very busy last few weeks for us...okay, a recap---

C had his 5th grade banquet last Friday! It's a lunch & dance for all 5th graders. They dress up(church attire), and had a really great time!I helped with the 'serving', and was glad to do so. Here are a few pics from that afternoon... also, the 1 pic w/ C & his gf, and 1 w/ C & his teacher, Mrs. K!!!:)~e
