Baby's almost here

My friend Leah, is very much expecting her second child, a boy, in fact he will make his debut this Thursday when she goes in for an induction...it's so exciting when a baby is born! We went over for a visit last night, and I just had to catch a pic of that belly!! :) Her daughter, Maya, is a adorable 2 yr. old soon-to-be big sis! I am looking forward to meeting the little handsome man in a few weeks once momma and baby are home and settled!e

Easter recap

Egg hunting, cousins, and kite flying was our Easter afternoon this year! The kiddies had a nice afternoon with family. I've been really busy this past week w/ finals and work! More posting to follow soon. e

It happens so fast...

It happens so fast, you know...one day they are toddlers, and the next--on the phone!!! No, K really does not own a cell phone...but she would if I let her have her way.
Now C on the other hand got a cell phone for Christmas from his father(did I mention we are happily divorced?)..Come to think of it, other than a lap top, that's all he asked for..(he doesn't ask for much-just a lap top!!!)

Driving...scary...

Here are pics of K and my nephew, W driving the "gator" last wkend at a family get together-dinner. They have a lot of fun w/ the cousins...but look out for scary driving! As you can see from K's expression--she enjoyed every minute of scaring me too death! :)

This is CM. He is 11 y/o and currently in the 5th grade. He is a very bright, charming, athletically talented kid--seriously. He is always willing to lend a hand, no matter what the task is. His hobbies are sports, sports, and you know it-sports! He is currently not playing bb this spring, b/c mama has to pass nursing!! His passion is fb-of course. FB nickname is "Cookie" #35 for Antioch Redskins.

This is KG. She is currently 7 y/o going on 25!!! In the first grade, and loving every minute of the life of a first grader. I would have to say that her hobbies mostly consist of Webkins(of course), shopping(of course), and horses(just like every other 7 y/o girl). She is a very bright, active,and somewhat bossy child...where ever did she pick up this trait? I wonder...

this is a first for me...

So, okay I'm going to give this blogging thing a go...I'm new at this, so just sit tight. I found the world of blogging by accident about a year ago, and I was hooked from the start.I am a RN student, soon to be graduating in May. I have finals next week, in fact I should be studying at this very moment...but this is much more interesting. I will try and keep this up to date, however, this is not a good week to start a new project. I'll keep you posted.
